Lung Transplant Program

The Adult Lung Transplant Program at Tampa General Hospital was the 8th busiest lung transplant program in the US in 2011. We were the 5th busiest center in the country in 2010. The center specializes in the transplant of patients with cystic fibrosis and pulmonary fibrosis. Our outcomes meet or exceed local and national averages.

Advanced Lung Disease Program

The Pulmonary Hypertension and Interstitial Lung Disease clinics are two specialized programs provided through New Lung Associates at TGH. Our physicians have special interests in providing state of the art care in both fields and have affiliations with national associations such as the Pulmonary Artery Association, American Thoracic Society, and the American College of Chest Physicians.

Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program

The CF program here at Tampa General Hospital is the largest adult CF program in Florida. We are a national Cystic Fibrosis Foundation certified center for Adult Cystic Fibrosis care. The center is also active in clinical pharmaceutical trials for new CF drugs. A dedicated team provides multidisciplinary care for our patients.
